What time of the day should you have your cholesterol test?

Most of us have been told to have "fasting" cholesterol test. As you would NO DOUBT be aware - being a faithful reader of this site (yes, YOU) - my previous posts have outlined studies showing that fasting is not all that necessary for cholesterol test.

My previous post discussed about a recent study showing that fasting is usually not necessary for cholesterol test. To further strengthen this argument, here is another older study to support this.

Super Mario, the addictive nintendo game that took up a big part of some of our childhood. Many hours have been spent by kids (and adults) on playing and trying to beat this game, and many times have parents had to yell at kids to "stop wasting so much time playing" it.

Well, honestly, it doesn't really take that long to play Super Mario.

Aerobic exercise improve psychosocial well-being in obese adolescents

Obesity can often be associated with low self esteem, depression, body image dissatisfaction. As an adolescent, this is further exacerbated by being teased in school, not being able to perform as well in sports, and sometimes social isolation as a consequence of these.

Diet and exercise are the way to lose weight. Reducing calorie intake by decreasing dietary intake by a significant amount is the best way to lose weight. Exercise to burn off calorie, on the other hand, struggles to keep up to anywhere near impact of diet.

However, there are other more important benefits associated with exercise.
